## About the role

Surrey County Council is looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide professional support to children, young people and families living across Surrey.

The successful applicant will work as part of the children’s service, combining professional assessments and support with visits to family homes and collaborative work with colleagues and other services.

## What the Council is looking for

- A degree or equivalent qualification in occupational therapy.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Experience in children’s social care occupational therapy or another children’s occupational therapy setting.
- A valid UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel across Surrey, subject to reasonable adjustments where required.

The appointment is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and checks against the Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists.

Surrey County Council is due to move to new authorities in April 2027. The vacancy states that the role will transfer to one of the new councils with its existing terms and conditions.
