You can transform the life of a young person in your local community by becoming a volunteer mentor with MCR Pathways.

Mentors spend an hour each week listening to and encouraging a young person in their school. The relationship that develops is what makes the difference. Can you help a young person to build their confidence and discover their potential?

No experience of special qualification are required - you just need to care and want to make a difference. Full training and on going support are provided. Mentors and young people are carefully matched based on their likes, personality and life-experiences. Everyone is different, so we look for mentors from all walks of life. When one person mentors, two lives are changed.

Our mentors are

- Empathetic and kind
- Open minded
- Non-judgemental
- Friendly and approachable
- Understanding and patient
- Committed and reliable

If you think that you could make a difference to a young person please do contact us for more information.
