These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Go Surrey, including any account, membership, listing or other service. They apply with our [Member’s Code](https://www.gosurrey.co.uk/code/) and any Submission Terms shown when you submit content.

**About Go Surrey**

Go Surrey is operated by Codesauce Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 09981304. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at [info@gosurrey.co.uk](mailto:info@gosurrey.co.uk).

**Eligibility**

You must be at least 18 years old and based in the United Kingdom to register, become a member or submit content. Any business, charity or organisation represented must also be based in the United Kingdom. You must be authorised to act for it.

**Accounts**

You must provide complete, accurate and current information. Accounts are for one authorised user and must not be shared. You are responsible for protecting your login details and must tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised use.

**Memberships, payments and renewal**

Membership features, prices and billing periods are shown when you join. Paid memberships renew automatically using your selected payment method unless cancelled before renewal. We will give reasonable notice of any material change to the renewal price.

You may cancel future renewal at any time. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current membership period.

Except where required by law, all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes where content is delayed, amended, rejected, not published or removed, or where an account or membership is suspended or cancelled.

**Stored payment methods and overdue amounts**

Where you have agreed that our payment provider may save your payment method for future use, you confirm that you are authorised to use that payment method and authorise Codesauce Limited to use it for membership renewals and other amounts properly due under these terms.

We will send you a written invoice or notice stating the amount due, how it was calculated and the date on which we intend to charge it. If the amount remains unpaid for 30 days after that notice, you authorise us to charge the invoiced amount to your stored payment method.

Amounts charged may include unpaid membership fees, charges and reasonable documented costs that you are required to reimburse under these terms, including costs arising from third party copyright, image licensing, trade mark, privacy or other rights claims.

If a payment attempt fails, we may make another attempt after giving you at least seven days’ notice. You may withdraw permission for future card charges by contacting us, but doing so will not cancel an existing debt and you must arrange another payment method.

**Submissions**

You are responsible for all content you submit. It must comply with our [Member’s Code](https://www.gosurrey.co.uk/code/), be lawful, accurate, current, suitable for a family audience, and relevant and appropriate for Go Surrey.

You confirm that you own the content or have every permission, licence and consent required for Go Surrey to use it. The content must not infringe anyone’s copyright, image rights, trade marks, privacy, confidentiality, data protection rights or other legal rights.

You retain any rights you hold in your content. You grant Codesauce Limited a worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, format, resize, crop, edit, adapt, publish, display, distribute and promote it in any media for the operation and promotion of Go Surrey. We may permit our service providers and publishing platforms to use it on our behalf for these purposes.

The licence continues while the content is published or reasonably required to administer or document its publication. Removal does not affect previous permitted use, necessary legal or administrative records, backup copies or copies outside our reasonable control.

**Review and publication**

We accept submissions in good faith and do not independently verify every detail. Reviews usually take up to 15 working days but may take longer. Payment and submission do not guarantee approval or publication.

We may verify, format, amend, reject, suspend or remove content that we reasonably consider inaccurate, unsuitable, irrelevant, unlawful or contrary to these terms. We may make reasonable editorial and technical changes, provided they do not materially misrepresent the submission.

**Your responsibility for claims**

Codesauce Limited is not responsible for checking the ownership, licensing, accuracy or legality of submitted content.

You agree to reimburse Codesauce Limited, its directors, employees and contractors for liabilities, losses, court awards, reasonable settlements and reasonable legal or professional costs arising from third party claims concerning your content, our permitted use of it or your breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent that a claim was caused by our negligence, a material alteration or use outside the permission you granted.

**Using the website**

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or extract data without permission, or use it for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity.

The website design, software and material created by Codesauce Limited belong to us or our licensors. Member and third party content belongs to its respective rights holders. You may use website material for personal, non-commercial purposes only unless the relevant rights holder gives written permission.

**Information, advertising and links**

Website content is provided for general information and is not professional advice. Listings do not represent an endorsement by Go Surrey. We do not guarantee that information supplied by members or third parties is complete, accurate or current.

The website may contain advertising, affiliate links and links to third party websites. Our [Disclosure](https://www.gosurrey.co.uk/disclosure/) explains this. We are not responsible for third party websites, services or content.

**Availability and liability**

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to Go Surrey. We may change, suspend or withdraw features where reasonably necessary.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to the paragraph above, Codesauce Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, opportunity, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising from a paid membership or service will not exceed the fees you paid for that membership or service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

**Suspension and termination**

We may suspend or terminate an account, membership or service for non-payment, serious or repeated breach, unlawful activity, security risk or conduct likely to harm Go Surrey or another person. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason.

**Privacy**

Our [Privacy Policy](https://www.gosurrey.co.uk/privacy/) explains how Codesauce Limited collects, uses, shares and retains personal information.

**Changes to these terms**

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, business or legal obligations. Material changes will apply from the date stated and, where appropriate, we will notify registered users before they take effect.

**General**

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
