A Surrey favourite is back for another cracking weekend! The much-loved Nonsuch Town & Country Show returns to Nonsuch Park on the early May bank holiday, and it’s bringing two full days of family fun, live entertainment, and proper British countryside charm with it. 🇬🇧
Billed as “the show with something for everybody,” this is one of those brilliant days out where you’ll find yourself cheering at a wrestling match, petting a ferret, and sampling artisan cheese — all before lunch. 🧀🐾
Expect a non-stop programme of arena action, including:
One of the show’s most beloved features, the WE LOVE DOGS area hosts a Charity Fun Dog Show and Pedigree Dog Show, each with over 20 classes. All proceeds go to charity — an incredible £18,000 was raised in 2024! 🏆
You’ll also find dog agility, flyball, gundog displays, “Dogs Have Got Talent,” and the always-hilarious owner and celebrity lookalike competition. 😄
Little ones are thoroughly spoiled at Nonsuch:
Food lovers will be well looked after with live cookery demonstrations from talented local and visiting chefs, plus a selection of artisan food stalls offering high-quality produce from small independent businesses.
Over in the Rural Crafters area, you can watch skilled artisans at work, browse handmade goods, and even try your own hand at traditional countryside crafts. 🧶
Also appearing: Jonathan Marshall’s equestrian displays, animal rescue showcases, and Middlesex Ferret Rescue. 🐹
