Coronavirus: Changes to Sick Pay (SSP) for Surrey Employees

The Government has announced that sick pay for employees can be paid from day 1 instead of day 4 for all Coronavirus related illness whether confirmed or suspected. If you need to self-isolate you can claim sick pay.

For employers, the Government has announced that all businesses can reclaim up to 14 days worth of sick pay (SSP) per employee back from the Government relating to Coronavirus related illness – suspected and confirmed.
