Explore On Paw brings together lots of information on dog-friendly activities in Surrey. We include details of dog-friendly places to go, shops which allow dogs, dog-focused events, great pubs to walk from with your dog among lots more dog-friendly information.
We decided to create Explore On Paw following the new addition of Holly, our black Cocker Spaniel. We found it really hard to find information on places to go with her without having to click on a number of different sites so we decided to make one resource which will be helpful to all people living or visiting Surrey with their dog. We also have some information about places close to the border as they sounded too interesting to miss off!
Our pub walks include details of how dog-friendly each pub is, whether dogs are allowed in the whole pub or just in one area and whether they provide treats, water and dog beds too. The dog walks from each pub include information on areas which might not be great for naughty or excitable dogs, such as when passing livestock, so dog owners can try and avoid these walks if need be. We also mention if vegan and vegetarian options are available too.
Our shopping and cafes pages include information on shops which will allow your dog to visit with you, and whether there are any rules on dog behaviour. We are constantly adding to this list so hope to see it grow over time and become a really useful guide for dog owners.
We also contain a list of dog agility clubs and training groups which is easy to see all of those in Surrey and follow the links through to contact them if you wish to. And not forgetting free dog and puppy socialisation groups, there are a few runs by pet shops which are a great place to take your dog to meet others.
If you have suggestions of anywhere which you think should be included on our site then please make sure to get in touch, we would love to hear from you! And don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter.
