Award winning forest school nursery
Outdoor Owls Richmond is an award-winning fully outdoor forest school nursery for 1-5 yo’s and also offers Holiday Camps for 4-7 yo’s. The nursery runs 51 weeks a year (8:00am – 5:45pm) Monday-Friday.
Each day our amazing team curate our magical forest camps for the day ready for hands-on learning. We focus on getting children ready not just for school but for life, honing in on developing resilience, empathy and creativity! We have the most dedicated teachers who care and educate our children in the great owldoors, come rain or shine.
We use nature’s very best organic resources (sticks, stones, leaves, mud, water…) along with traditional nursery resources to give children magical days and to teach the full early years curriculum outdoors. We also deliver exciting forest school activities too such as, cooking on the fire, den building, adventure walks, whittling and more.
Children benefit so much more from the outdoors not just in terms of healthier bodies (less sickness) and minds but from the many more learning opportunities surrounding them.
