Location: Victoria Gate, Chobham Road, Woking, GU21 6JD, with school visits across Surrey
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £34,660 to £36,943 per annum
About the role
Support the Safer Travel team’s work with Surrey schools, particularly the Feet First walking training programme. The post includes helping to develop the programme, coordinating the bank workers who deliver it, and working with schools, residents and colleagues on active and sustainable travel. The team uses a hybrid working pattern based in Woking.
What you will need
The Council asks for knowledge of pedestrian training or behaviour change programmes, sound communication and relationship-building skills, and a methodical approach to reports and records. See the official advert for the full criteria.
