DAiSY Presents their DAiSY~Chain Artists Exhibition at The Lightbox, Woking, Surrey.
DAiSY (Disability Arts in Surrey) is proud to present the inaugural DAiSY~Chain Artists Network Exhibition, showcasing artworks by d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists from Surrey and the South East.
This exhibition is part of the Surrey Artist Open Studios, a community trail across the county of Surrey artists and their studios. The exhibition is at The Lightbox Gallery in Woking from Tuesday 4th June – Sunday 14th July 2024.
With an array of paintings, sculptures, videos, digital art, and textiles, each artwork on display celebrates the talent and creativity within Surrey’s extensive community of disabled artists. All participating artists are members of DAiSY’s newly established disabled artist network, DAiSY~Chain.
This initiative aims to create a supportive community of artists across the South East, fostering connections, support, collaborations and opportunities among d/Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent creatives.
About DAiSY~Chain
DAiSY~Chain is DAiSY’s new artist network. It is for artists across the South East who identify as d/Deaf, disabled or neurodivergent and provides a supportive network to link artists from across the county together.
