We can’t wait to see you at the Beats and Eats Summer Festival at Nonsuch Park on the 15th & 16th of June which is set to be a summer extravaganza with something for the whole family to enjoy. A fabulous day out. We have some amazing artists coming along to perform on our Main Stage including The Hoosiers, Tinchy Stryder, D:REAM, East 17, Liberty X, Sweet Female Attitude, Michelle Kckenna (Platnum) and many more and why not enjoy some throwbacks with the amazing Beatles Tribute ‘The Beatles with an A’ coming along on Saturday the 15th. We are also very excited to welcome some up and coming artists performing who are local to the community including SaintClair who’s debut album Good Life is out now. Our Acoustic tent includes other artists such as Cat Elliott, George Brown, Alex Comaish, From the Workshop and many more.
This isn’t just a Music festival – we also have some fantastic artisan food and drink, a beer festival and some amazing street food which is part of our Beats and Eats element of the Festival. This includes some delicious hot food stands which offer cuisines from around the world, a variety of delicious drinks, artisan food traders, a chilli eating competition and why not watch our cookery demonstrations which will be going on throughout the day with many amazing chefs and foragers including Master Chef contestant Forest Kwok and don’t forget to visit our fabulous exhibitors with an array of quality products for sale and support small and local.
The fun throughout the day continues with Magic Shows from the amazing Merkele from Britain’s Got Talent and why not go and watch the awe inspiring circus and stilt walkers and their hugely popular fire show. If that isn’t enough, enjoy some fun with the wonderful Wrestling, which is guaranteed to get a chuckle from the whole family.
We also have loads for the younger visitors at the show which includes our strong and powerful superheroes which you can meet, Puppet shows, Punch and Judy, reptiles, and a fairground! If all this isn’t enough you can even go on a Donkey ride.
The Beat and Eats Summer Fest is an event that provides all our visitors with a fun day out but also the opportunity to learn and emerge themselves in some new hobbies. If you are looking to pick up a new skill why not go and visit our amazing rural crafters in our crafts area, where they will be demonstrating some truly unique and traditional crafts that have become extremely rare to come across – including chainsaw carving and Have A Go Archery.
