Don’t miss Harmony’s Music Club’s Easter Holiday extravaganza with its next magical interactive family concert – Sleeping Beauty and Children’s Games – at Christ Church, Esher.
Harmony’s Music Club is the family concert provider in Surrey presenting professional classical music narrated concerts, performed with images, and with plenty of opportunities to join in, making it accessible to all.
This next concert will enchant all ages with their bespoke re-telling of the classical tale of Sleeping Beauty set to Tchaikovsky’s beautiful and exciting ballet music (as used in the Story Orchestra books) arranged for piano duet by Rachmaninoff.
Following this is the fabulously fun work Jeux d’Enfants (Children’s Games), by Bizet for piano duet. The sparks (and bubbles) really will fly in this brilliant and captivating piece of music and the audience is invited to participate in a giant guessing game set around the music to get those listening ears really engaged with the concert. Children are also invited to join in where cued with a musical instrument which they can make at home and bring along (details on the website) so that they are also part of the performance.
Harmony’s Music Club’s family concerts create an immersive, inspiring and educational experience for children with their approach to children’s music being recognised in 2020 by the Royal Philharmonic Society as things to do with children.
Recommended age 3+ but all ages welcome. We can’t wait to welcome you into the Harmony’s Music Club family and to give your family a beautiful musical experience to share and remember together.
