Head2Head’s half term drama sessions provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for children and young people to have fun, make friends and learn new skills in drama, in a friendly and accessible space.
Workshops are suitable for children ages 5 to 16+ with moderate learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities.
Participants will be stimulated to grow their drama and movement skills whilst developing self-expression, self-confidence, and sociability.
Using drama games, role play and improvisation sessions will allow participants to;
Explore words and themes of different musical genres using ‘Sing & Sign’ Makaton.
Accompanying adults are welcome to ‘Stop or Drop’, or to wait in our Green Room. They are also welcome to join, if required to assist.
Snack and drinks can be purchased at our Cafe and there families are welcome to use our Sensory Room.
Parking and disabled toilet will be available on site.
For ages 5-9 the session will include an introduction into drama and theatre using the sensory props and costumes seen in some of Head2Head Sensory Theatre’s immersive experiences and productions, as well as fun drama games and sing and sign, all in a friendly and fully accessible space. From 11 – 12.30 there will be drop-in crafting and sensory prop-making workshops. Snacks and drinks will be available to buy from the cafe during the morning.
